Deborah Horan, MS, SLP, CCC

Owner, Speech Language Pathologist

Deborah is a graduate of Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies. She then earned a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association licensee as well as a Certified ASHA provider. Her practice specializes in pediatric speech therapy, Orofacial Myofunctional therapy, picky eaters, speech language pathology.

Melanie Gerzik, OTR

Occupational Therapist

Melanie completed her undergraduate and masters work at Texas A&I University before receiving a second master’s in occupational therapy at Texas Woman’s University. Melanie strongly identifies with the struggle many students face daily and strives to be an advocate for her clients.

Kathy Switzer, MS, SLP, CCC

Speech Language Pathologist

Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Education, and her Master of Science Degree in Speech -Language Pathology and Audiology from Baylor University. She holds a Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and the Certificate of Clinical Competence(CCC) in the area of Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is also a registered Yoga instructor. Kathy specializes in Pediatric populations with Speech Phonology Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Integration Disorder, Language Disorder, and Oral-Phase Dysphagia. She loves to volunteer in the community and also plays the viola in the Brazos Civic Orchestra. She has raised two children of her own; one who is diagnosed with ASD, Anxiety, and Panic Disorder, and one who is diagnosed with ADD. Kathy’s work has always focused on functional outcomes to maximize communication skills for all individuals.
